What E-Motos does the ER30 shock fit?
The TECH Suspension ER30 E-Moto shock fits the following lightweight E-Motos:

283 x 85 mm version:

  • E-Ride Pro 3.0 and SR (direct mount)
  • Surron LightBee X models – Light Bee X, Light Bee (linkage mount)
  • Ventus One & Ventus One Plus (linkage mount)

285 x 85 mm version:

  • Talaria Sting Models – 3000, 4000 & 5000 models (linkage mount)
  • Altis Sigma & Sigma MX (direct mount)

310 x 85 mm version :

  • Arctic Leopard EX700 and EX800 (direct mount)

What accessories does the shock come shipped with?
Included in the box are the following items:

  • Linkage for your bike (Surron, Ventus or Talaria)
  • DU Bushings
  • Orange CTS Valve (pre-fitted to shock)

Is that everything I need to fit the shock to my bike?
Yes, unless you have modified your bike. If your bike has been modified, especially the swingarm, you should consult the specifications of the shock and the modified parts and assess their compatibility. In the case of doubt, please contact our service team by email at service@rideformula.com.

Does the shock come pressurised?
Yes the TECH Suspension ER30 E-Moto shock is shipped from the factory pre-pressurised, however we do recommend you check the pressure before fitting the shock. The procedure for checking the pressure is contained within the product manual, available for download via the product page on our website.

Can I change the spring rate on my shock?

We recommend that you have your spring changed by a professional mechanic.

How do I choose my spring rate?
Choose your spring rate based on your weight and riding style. Riders who ride aggressively on rough terrain and / or with big jumps should consider going up a spring rate. If in doubt, consult your local motorcycle shop or tuning specialist for help in setting up your shock for your weight and riding style.

Where should I go if I need help fitting or servicing my shock?
You should contact the dealer who sold you the shock for all after-sales support. In the case of doubt, please contact our service team by email at service@rideformula.com.

How often does the shock need serviced?
As a general rule, we recommend the following procedures:

  • Check sag and air pressure – every month
  • Check piggyback reservoir pressure – every 3 months
  • Oil change and complete inspection – once a year.

Please note this depends on the intensity of your riding and the conditions that you ride in. For example, if you are a racer or aggressive rider the interval decreases.
