Graham Jarvis & Jarv-E Make History at Erzbergrodeo
Erzbergrodeo is widely regarded as one of the toughest hard enduro competitions in the world, where finishing alone represents a major achievement.
It was the first major hard enduro race of Graham Jarvis’ career more than 20 years ago and, as a five-time winner, he has a long history with the event.
For the 30th edition of Erzbergrodeo, electric motorcycles were allowed to compete alongside combustion-powered bikes for the first time. So for Jarvis, the next chapter was to tackle the Iron Giant on the Jarv-E.
In true Silent Assassin fashion, Graham worked his way forward from a second-row start to finish 10th overall, becoming the only rider from his row to reach the finish and one of the first three electric motorcycles ever to complete Erzberg Rodeo.
Formula was proud to be part of the project, supplying a custom-built Kashima-coated braking system developed specifically for the occasion.
