The 34mm piston increases piston area by 28%, providing greater hydraulic control and tuning potential. Combined with the wider shim stack and CTS compression tuning system, the ER34 offers a useful range of adjustment to dial in the shock for different riders, bikes and riding conditions.
Kashima + DLC
Kashima Coat® on the aluminium shock body and DLC on the piston shaft reduce friction at the shock’s moving surfaces while improving wear resistance. Kashima reduces friction by approximately 13%, while DLC reduces friction by approximately 35%, helping maintain smooth, consistent operation over time.
