The EB9 E-Moto Brake is an essential upgrade for the new ‘hyper light’ category – lightweight E-Motos like the E Ride Pro SR that deliver more power, higher speeds and increased weight.

BESPOKE CALIPERS, MADE IN ITALY
Designed and manufactured in-house by Formula, the EB9 features a rigid CNC-machined caliper with larger pistons – four up front, two in the rear.
The advantages of CNC-machined calipers include:
- Very high stiffness-to-weight ratio
- Precise piston alignment
- Consistent hydraulic performance
- Premium, durable surface finishes
Bigger and wider than the EB7, the EB9 has thicker brake pads to provide the temperature control required by hyper-light E-motos.
BUILT TO LAST
Forged and anodized aluminum controls, anodized calipers, and steel braided brake lines ensure long-term durability.
FITMENT
The EB9 has been engineered and tested in three post-mount variations:
- 99.5mm — E Ride Pro 3.0 and SR
- 95.5mm — Talaria MX5 and Altis Sigma
- 90mm — Arctic Leopard XE Pro S / Enduro *in order to fit the dimensions of the bike, this version has a slimmer caliper than the other EB9 brakes *
The brakes are designed as a direct replacement for OE systems on the listed models. If your E-Moto has not been modified, no additional parts are required.
The EB9 is designed for industry-standard 220mm rotors, and is compatible with rotors up to 260mm in diameter when used with the appropriate adapter.
